Lysion Vieira

Ballet + Modern/Contemporary Teacher and Choreographer

Lysion Vieira was born in Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil. In 2012, he graduated in BA in Dance from the Federal University of Bahia, Brazil. He graduated from the Methodologies of Cuban Classical Ballet (National Ballet of Cuba) and English (Royal Academy of Dance). Danced classical Repertoire as: Don Quixote (Basil), Coppelia (Franz), Nutcracker and Price, Le Corsaire (Corsaire, Conrad and Merchant), Manon (Pas de Deux), Sleeping Beauty. In Salvador, Bahia, he participated in the Katharsis Dance Company. Dancer and also choreographer at the Tabernacle Dance Company at the Feast of Tabernacles (ICEJ) in Jerusalem, Israel. In 2014, he joined the Ad Deum Dance Company in Houston, Texas where he danced for three years and had the opportunity to take classes and dance works that were choreographed by Randall Flinn (Ad Deum Dance Company), Steve Rooks (Martha Graham Dance Company), Caleb Mitchell (Houston Ballet), Vincent Hardy (Complexions Contemporary Ballet) and Durrell Comedy (Limón Dance Company) and dance with Laura Valentin (principal dancer of the Puerto Rico National Ballet). He has international experiences as a dancer and teacher in the United States, Philippines, India, Mexico, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Bolivia, England, France, Holland, Israel, Ireland and Mexico. In November of 2021, after a long visa process, Lysion joined Arrows International in Oklahoma. He currently serves the Lord at the ministry of Arrows International as a Ballet and Modern/Contemporary teacher, Company Member, and Choreographer.
